You`ll discover one of the most interesting cities all over the world – Tbilisi. You can visit Georgian Orthodox churches, mosque, Synagogue, Armenian church, Catholic Church; all within five minutes walk from each other.
The wine tour in Kakheti – the main wine region in Georgia offers you opportunity to taste different sorts of famous Georgian wine, visit wine factories and small wine cellars as well, get closer to hospitable spirit of Georgia.
You visit an ancient capital and religious center of Georgia Mtskheta; 11th century cathedral Svetitskhoveli (where the robe of Chtrist is buried) and 7th century monastery Djvari, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 1

After accommodation in comfortable hotels you are invited to discover the wonderful capital of Georgia – Tbilisi.
It`s one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its own style and atmosphere. Tbilisi is older than 1500 years! Each century left its mark on it.
It`s like a time machine. Every turning offers you new secrets and every building has its own history: narrow streets, famous balconies, patios and ancient churches.
You will enjoy walking along the streets, following their labyrinths and discovering new interesting places.

After you take the cable car up to Narikala fortress (4th Century), with picturesque panoramic view to town.

We will go down along Vifliemskaya street-stairs, to reach the beautiful part of town, called Sololaki.
After we drive to a Georgian Style Restaurant, famous for its delicious traditional cuisine.
There you visit a special workshop: you will learn how to bake Georgian bread Shotli in the Traditional oven, make Shashlik and Bake Khachapuri.

In the afternoon we drive to Mountain Mtatsminda, from there, if weather permits, you might catch the glimpse of mountains of the great Caucasus range.
Our excursion finishes in one of the Tbilisi wine-shops, where you can taste and buy the best Georgian wines. You will learn the history of the local wine-making and how to choose the wine for different meals.
After free time you are invited to one of the best restaurants in Tbilisi «Georgian House», to taste the most delicious traditional meals and enjoy traditional Georgian songs and dances.

Day 2

Kakheti is one of the most beautiful regions in Georgia. Seventy percent of Georgian wines are produced here. According to legends, the first vine was grown by Noah on the Ararat mountainside, which is not far from Kakheti. Contemporary archeological diggings prove that Kakhetian people knew how to grow vine in ancient times. Wine jars, stone wine presses, founded in Kakheti, are dated up to X millennium BC.

Almost every Kakhetin village is well-known for its own sort of wine; Kindzmarauli, Akhasheni, Teliani, Mukuzani; Called so because of the names of the villages where they are produced.
We visit one of the biggest wine factories in Khakheti, where you can taste and buy some wine.
There are the most beautiful and old churches in Khakheti as well.

The Monastery of St. Nino in Bodbe

In the 4th century, St Nino from Cappadocia adopted Georgia to Christianity (Georgia is one of the first Christian countries in the world, after Roman Empire and Armenia). That’s why she is one of the most adored saints in our country.

In Kakheti you can visit her grave. According to a legend, the place of the grave was chosen by Saint Nino. The king of Kartli, Miriam, who was the first Christian king in Georgia, wanted to transfer the relics to the capital Mtskheta, but they couldn’t move her body.
The relics of Saint Nino are in the Monastery of St. Nino, in Bodbe. There is the spring, named after her, the pilgrims believe in its healing force.

Sighnaghi – city of Love

We continue our tour in Sighnaghi. One of its highlights is a wonderful fortress, built by king Irakli II on a mountainside. The fortress is almost intact. From its top you will have splendid view of Alazani valley, vineyards and mountains. The city is similar to some Italian towns, because of its narrow streets and small houses with red roofs.
You will fall in love and feel loved in Signagi, That’s why it is called the city of love.
After walk we`ll have a traditional dinner with workshop, where you will learn to cook traditional meals. The local shashlik is cooked in an original way – on a dry vine.
You can taste traditional candies, made with grape juice – churchkhela and pelamushi.


Tsinandali is an ancestral village of one of the most famous Georgian families – Princes Chavchadze. This family gave to Georgia and to the whole world well-known politics, military leaders, poets and scientists. We will visit the prince wine-cellars with the unique collections.

You can walk in a beautiful park, surrounding the palace, like famous Russian diplomat and writer Alexander Griboedov with his young wife Nina Chavchadze.

Kvareli – wine factory Kindzmarauli Corporation, tunnel cellars.

A visit to Kakheti without visiting Alazani valley is out of question – it`s very picturesque in every season. There you can taste the real Kindzmarauli, Georgian semi sweet red wine. We will visit one of the biggest wineries. The cellar of this winery is located in the Kvareli tunnel 7700 m long. There you will learn a lot of interesting things about the wine, how to choose the wine and how to drink it.

Day 3rd
Mtskheta – ancient capital of Georgia

We visit the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, situated at the confluence of the Aragvi and the Mtkvari rivers; Mtskheta is the site of the first Christian churches in Georgia. We visit Jvari Monastery (6th century), located at the top of the hill. This is the place where the missionary St Nino erected a cross (“jvari” in Georgian) in the 4th century to mark the coming of Christianity to Georgia. We visit 11th century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, used for centuries for the coronation and burial of Georgian monarchs. Most importantly, it is considered one of the holiest places in Georgia, since the Robe of Christ is buried here. Svethitskoveli is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Georgia, with exquisite carvings and frescoes. Both Svetitskhoveli and Djvari are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

• Djvary monastery church (VI century)

After the excursion we will have lunch in one of the best restaurants in Mtsheta, where we will also have a workshop of the local cuisine: gordila (boiled dough), kaghi (cut meat), kaurma (mixed grill), khachoerba (curd butter).
Then you will return to Tbilisi and have some free time.
You can book bath in Tbilisi sulphur baths houses (€19 dollars per 2-3 people, €30 dollars per 6- people). You may visit theatres (puppet theatre Gabriadze, Tbilisi mime theatre, Griboedov theatre, theatre Nabadi). Ticket is about €3 per person.
Dinner in Georgian style restaurant, on the top of Mtsaminda, with magic view to night Tbilisi.
